fall angst
certain places have charmed us time after time. In exploring for ideas, we come upon a place and then make it our own
…seeing the entire universe from a small water pattern….

Micheal Zarowsky thanks Ed, cannot escape myself and my particular way of seeing which
then become the paintings themselves.
Some of the work is of the
quiet, the meditative places that neither reveal themselves easily nor ask anyone to specifically come there; Devil’s Lake, off Deep Bay Rd., just southwest of Minden.
Ed Reliuga You not only paint what one can see……you seem to capture what one can “feel” as well. There is an aura of solitude……of seeing a solitary moment of nature ….of this universe. You paint that moment that nature chose to share.
Micheal Zarowsky of course; come fall there is a palpable angst in the air – you can feel it; having the lake to ourselves, effects an understanding of solitude outlining edges of wide open spaces (and then the hunters come in with their ATV’s and we move on)
