My “Moon River Shoreline’ watercolour in OSA Juried Exhibition
.
You know, nomatter how many juried exhibitions I enter into, and I assume most other artists feel the same way, each time I get a notification that my painting has been accepted into the latest one I submitted work to –( it is ‘work’ when you submit, becomes a ‘painting’ when you get accepted )- I get very excited, feel a kind of relief, and can walk away feeling good / feeling thankful knowing that my peers saw enough merit in my current work to include it in the exhibition they were jurying into existence.
Well i just got my latest acceptance; an email from the jury committee at the OSA, The Ontario Society of Artists, informing me my entry, a watercolour on arches paper I title “MOON RIVER SHORELINE”, made it into the 2020 Juried Exhibition, which like everything else currently is an online exhibition only.
Beginning November 1st – December 31st 2020
So once again I am very excited, feel a bit of relief, and feel thankful my peers voted my work in to what is going to be an incredible exhibition.
