reworking time itself
if i have a reason to, i complain the same as anyone…although doing so publicly is a rare moment for me, so i want to think of this as an explanation more than a complaint, of why i needed to rework paintings that perhaps ought have sold the way they were initially painted some time ago……
‘recovered’ is the word, some work from an unresponsive gallery that would not return emails phone calls and had uncertain open hours making any drive to retrieve them a stacked game of chance….we did part amiably, but i i had to repair, touch up, and rework every piece to make them mine again,, …. 2 of the works now ‘reworked’ …..
