Haliburton Gallery closing this weekend
some sad news; the Ethel Curry Gallery with whom i have only been showing with for less than a year, after 28 years of being an art destination in Halliburton, is closing this Saturday for good. I haven’t even met Wayne, the owner in person as yet, having dealt with him online and introduced myself to each of the gals working the gallery on occasions when i dropped off new work.
(it is the 4th gallery outside the city i am aware of shuttering its doors in the last 12 months and i know of several that are struggling to remain open with all the changes in the local art scene. hopefully they will make it thru whatever it is we are going thru)
