· ‘ Facebook friend’, (i hope that doesn’t sound any less than mere ‘friend’) Becky, took the time out of her day to collect her thoughts and express them in a poem regarding our ongoing series of ‘infinity rings’ paintings. I am indeed honoured and thrilled that what i do thru paint is matched by what Becky does with words.

Ooo Ooo

A painter I know
captures on paper
water as it
swallows a stone.

O OO oh
he paints fluid circles
of peristalsis,
so each whispered O
Is ringed with itself.

The Zen of paint brush
and watercolor medium
expands out too
into the universe.
