winter reds
the paper naples yellow thin beech leaves rustling in the breezes make up most of our lingering colour over the winter months, so coming upon unexpected reds when seasons overstay reaching into each others time frames does excitedly shock stop me in my snowshoe tracks / pretty sure they didn’t want to find themselves in a snowcovered forest i chose to portray them as running thru rather than being rooted there
