seeing red
.the open studio sale which continues thru december, now has two new experiences expressed as small water paintings, the first of which i believe would make for a terrific first part to a triptych; the second further explorations of leftover red leaves celebrating late autumn.

momentary situations: ponds borne of too many days of rain; of more rain than the ground can absorb. 6 inch deep ponds with reflections that reach down forever, raindrops spreading across the surface like anxiety with no clear definition of a shoreline within existence nor reach
