city creek
a meandering creek emptying into lake ontario;
Wendy and I have painted trilliums n trout lilies and jack in the pulpits, on and on, as springtime carpeted the forest floor; come fall the i have watched salmon swim upstream to lay their eggs and smelled the sewage from the neighbouring whatever wafting on the breezes following the creek to the lake. an interestingly changing walk all year long.
