(something i have never seen before is how the Kawarthas at least, were totally blanketed with flowering lilacs this weekend; there were entire fields full of lilac trees in bloom; both sides of the sideroads were lined with them; i may have to rush out and buy some dioxazine violet paint/ inbetween the gallery hours  managed to escape and wander along the shallow edges of the missisaugua river and work out a handful of sketches of what else….water…..)
