georgian bay on my mind
wendy and i had a experienced local take us out to and up the length of Baie Fine simply not only because of the risk of unpredictability of open water on georgian bay which meant we would need a larger vessel which would only come with its own navigator, which was super fine with us, preferring to rely on local watermen who know the waters where they live and this man offered local history and tales along with the sandwiches.
at the end of the bay there was a tiny island with a cottage of sorts dwarfing it, and most summers there was a elegant motor yacht moored alongside this island which belonged to the visiting evinrude family from the states.
who‘d a thunk.
