late start
not sure how everyone else finds october but it just zoomed on by me….sure, i worked everyday, but there still are more things i did not get to do this month than i was able to, and this includes several escapes spent freely wandering numerous trails thru algonquin pk, thru the shallows of margaret lake on a fine misty rain day, adding a newly discovered twisty spring stream with its reflections midway along margaret lake rd. best to stop this inventorying; leave some of the wanderings a mystery, enough said.
With the CLosing of Ethel Curry Gallery – joining all the other artists left without a place to show / sell but more importantly to my mind, the closure leaves an emptiness, a hole, in an area where people have supported / shopped for art for decades and now? until the reeeeee cession is behind us i don’t see anyone opening a new venture …and…without a gallery to go for, i am freed up to simply find other places to explore
this all started with my noticing that i am late to start working new winter light ideas while actually working on a new winter light piece. a s all new series i call ‘sunrise’, (primarily from – 23C mornings starting their day along the forests found along southwood rd in muskoka)
