inventing a new process
in painting contemporary winter, in losing myself while painting the infinite ways it expresses itself to us, thru trial and error, in this case becoming aware of a lucky error, i worked out a new process which i call…..
Ghosting
Process i devised which consists of of reworking the whites that ‘were initially left’, so that now they are ‘painted in’.
The whites were initially left by working negatively, light to dark; reworking them, involves painting them, treating them, as things in themselves for the first time.
