having had a quick boo at the other works in the show all i can say is given               the rest are all paintings of local interests, my work, being from key west,                either does not fit or on the other hand,  really really stands out

on another note have a new pine worked out

pine 52    48″ x 48″  mixed media

which is keeping with / a continuation of 3 earlier large pine pieces,                            all in  keeping with what the galleries all seem to want – large large                          and large…….at least the pines deserve a larger format to express the                       strength, power, majesty of the idea; most of the time the ideas tell me                    what size they needed to be painted  and i find quite  often a smaller                    piece has just as much power, intensity, strength call it presence, as a larger            piece; size seems while not irrelevant, only one of the determining                      factors that go into working out an idea.
