Because ideas develop over time / a not so cut n dried continuity / neither

we nor ideas develop evenly / as evident in the amount of interest / time 

spent on certain ideas while others are being ignored at the same time.

Some ideas have more in them than a single painting / there is an back and

forth interaction of working through the idea and the idea working me 

which sparks off all manner of other ideas connected to the one being 

worked on worth considering to merit a painting of their own after I 

finish what I am working on. Hence series develop. Rather than follow 

someone I would easily follow an idea.
