Canadian painter working in acrylic, watercolour & pastels; one of the few artists who has developed a truly distinctive way of seeing & conveying the world’s beauty. Zarowsky’s work pushes towards abstraction and it exudes a textural quality; His landscapes capture the dazzle of light as no other painter can. Many of his watercolours are on paper but others are painted on prepared birch panels, by means of a special technique he has invented; this means they don’t have to be framed under glass.
