autumn and water / water and autumn
understanding red and farewell celebrations of late autumn 12″ x 27″
mixed media (watercolour / acrylic painted directly on gessoed birch panel)
autumn an water / water and autumn / can anything but visual magic be found as th season drifts towards december whites / one of my favourite comeupons / an instant pond / the ground saturated from days of rain filling up low lying depressions / becoming ponds for that short span of time it takes the water to be absorbed into the ground / true moments in time / often never repeated or at least not in the same until the next deluge
My friend. William Willard, shared this and wrote on his FB page:
For my Friends in the Toronto area….Your have to check out this guy’s work. He has something for everyone. From bicycles on the lido to a lake in northern Ontario. Affordable. Unique. Brilliant! go to www.zarowsky.net and check out his gallery. Watercolors like you’ve never seen before.
Lynda downstairs says: What an incredibly beautiful painting… it just floats, … It’s so graceful and the reds are so majestic against the water… I love it! So transparent!
and Earl says it is scintillating! And that it leaps off the page … I see it that way, too! He says it looks Japanese.
anyways, you can see this work at the open studio sale which continues Nov 22nd thru december 23rd.
if you can’t make it over…..
……then might see you at 7 tonight at John Libby”s Gallery for the Small Picture Show where i have 4 small new works on display.
