light night on the pond
one of several in an ongoing series of moonlit nights on the pond along 12 mile bay rd. feel i was able to get close to the slate blue ? sheen of the light on the water where the moon was not directly bathing in the water without making it look dirty or overworked.

had 2 comments from friends flattering this piece with their thought out observations that support the ideas we chose to paint and that we are closer to being original than crazy.

Lovely theme
Natalia Bubnich-McLevy thanks Natalia, also explored this idea a while back with a solid wall of wild irises lining the saugeen river shoreline. Worked out the available moonlite light at night and worked out the irises in the morning
Micheal, you just keep turning out the most astonishing work…I love the ripples.
Susan Elizabeth Rosen thanks Susan, that would have been Wendy, not to sound arrogant or anything, we come to water as a blank canvas with which to stir, splash, kaboom drop into, and otherwise disturb wake up a smooth flowing surface to reveal possibilities….we think we’re interacting with water in creating our own patterns and water is interacting with us by flowing along with those possibiblities
