latest late summer lilies from sherborne lake with Wendy in the rain stirring the water my way. looking back it took the forever part of the week as i stopped and worked out several smaller panels with pickerel weed and water designs each time they floated across my vision.
Usually i have a small window from when a ‘light’ rain starts, losing myself following it coming down, my eyes dragonfly-ing from one raindrop to the next one falling lightly, taking its time, individuals as if these are raindrop scouts sent to see how dry it is up ahead and each raindrops puddles with the space to ringlet out to infinity or its nearest droplet doing the same thing to it becoming a thundering disconbobulated orchestra of splash. i worked out generous spreading raindrops next to equally well formed spreading raindrops much as when i watched them hitting the surface of the pond at sherborne lake with the thought that, i may not be able to show raindrops falling one after another n another, but it takes me time to visually travel between the fallen raindrops which can be a way to feel the ongoingnessssss of the rain.
