dropped off 11 new works with Talia at Arta Gallery this morning including one of our latest summer water dazzle works –  48″ x 24″  watercolour / acrylic painted directly on gessoed panel 

 the white areas in this painting seem to invoke references to david milne’s work which is a bit of a stretch, as i know and like davids work, Wendy and i having created a david milne room on the top floor of the bank for the royal bank collection back when with Susie at the helm,  we rehung their entire collection.                                                                                              the connection is moot since there is no real connection between us. i work backwards; working light to dark leaving the whites building up colours. 

anyways the works dropped off – water patterns and fall pieces – worth a visual visit –  all work together to create a solid presence when hung on a single wall.
