now and then. more now than then ….. it’s like that … .some days post nada zilch nothing …… but then of course never even occurs to me to post more regularly…..and now having worked out everything that needs be worked out before the TOAF, have some free time and over posting? 

anyways, have a summer water dazzle on paper. first one,  as the others have all been worked out on panel

this is all about ‘the line’ separating the light and dark flows in the water, caused somewhat by the shoreline reflection in the water’ the reflecting whites flowing into the cobalts interspersed with the river bottom showing thru further up near the top of  the painting. 

summer water dazzle 13  –  40″ x 26″    watercolour on arches paper   2600.00  / also posted in the waterlilies page where a summers full of new water works is available for purchase. it is currently unframed. we have more or less stopped framing up works on paper ahead of any purchase, as it is impossible to anticipate how anyone would want it framed and we ended up eating a ton of frames before we made this decision and see it as a chance for whomever is interested in the work to work with a framer and have it framed exactly the way they envision it. we can cut an acid free mat n’ backing for it and can easily recommend framers we use to anyone looking to frame up any piece on paper they choose from us.
