always look on the fundy side of life
always a surprise to find out more of my early watercolours that i haven’t seen in years are going for bids at waddingtons auction house early in february
happily and sadly life goes on and these paintings are looking forward to their new life / can only hope the currant owners are alive and well
— “low tide nova scotia” / 12″ x 13″ / on the fundy side / our georgian bay friends, whom we have not seen in forever, sent us to the east coast way back when fish were plentiful in the ocean and the fishing industry was a going concern. for all i know it still is a going concern today. a weeklong trip became / took a month just to explore the south side followed by several yearly return drives to and thru and along the oceanside.
