part of this october’s squarefootshow
i’d like to think that i carry all the ideas we were able to express thru paint in my head with me as i start working anew each winter, treating each winter as a blank blanket of snow, wandering thru sunny days after new snowfalls looking for and making our own magic from what surrounds us and then winter moves on just as i am getting started painting it so i end up working many new winter ideas into the melting spring across watery stretches of the summer, and into the fall colours and reflections.
a newly completed winter light work of daylight sent streaming across the hillsides along the winding Southwood road.
a good moment to share that i have submitted 5 new winter pieces to the thursday october 9th squarefootshow starting at 8pm for 24 hours.
