it is forever the ‘next’ sideroad, or pond, or small lake, just beyond all the already explored roads, ponds, small lakes, on and branching off the major highways leading north, that makes up a good part of our random yet not so random wandering as we systematically explore each for what it has to offer throughout the seasons….
